This is our favourite editor , most of our business partners used Macromedia
Dreamweaver too , it may not be the first choice for the beginner , but
once you get used to templating your pages it can speed up production
, and most web developers eventually migrate to it . Things we particularly
like - (1) It is a dual editor - WYSIWYG and HTML coding windows at the
click of a button (2) It makes handling multiple sites very easy (and
copying common code from one project to another is very easy). (3) Integration
with Fireworks graphics program / and the graphics optimiser means you
can quickly create good looking sites that run fast .
(4) Clean code - many alternative editors place lots of garbage like
unnecesary metatags , not this one. (5) You can easily create a portfolio
of sites , and reuse code by copying files or portions of a file between
1 projhect and another . (6) Advanced mamanagement facilities like search
and replace . (7) Live site editing . To sum up Dreamweaver does everything
